| In recent years,business continuity management research has become an important frontier research and practical issue in the financial field.Previous research has mainly focused on theoretical methods such as building a framework for business continuity management,competency models,and enterprise performance,but it is not practical.This thesis aims to conduct research on banking business continuity through relatively mature management related models to ensure that banks can effectively ensure the continuous operation of important businesses in the event of sudden disasters,while meeting the regulatory requirements of financial regulators,and also achieving the sustainable and healthy development of the organization.This thesis takes the business continuity management issue of Q Bank as the research object.Firstly,it analyzes the internal and external environmental threats faced by the bank in the current development process,and points out that business continuity management is of great significance for the stable development of the bank.Secondly,this thesis uses a questionnaire survey to investigate the senior,middle,and ordinary employees of Q Bank,and uses the 6R model of business continuity,the DRII fivestep methodology,and the PDCA model as theoretical references.After statistical analysis of120 valid questionnaire samples,it concludes that Q Bank has four main problems in business continuity management: first,lack of knowledge training on business continuity management systems;The second is the lack of risk assessment and business impact analysis processes;The third is the lack of business continuity management emergency drilling process;The fourth is the lack of business continuity planning processes.Thirdly,this thesis adopts a business risk assessment model and draws relatively objective risk assessment conclusions through relevant research and analysis.On this basis,it proposes four optimization measures for Q Bank’s business continuity management: first,strengthen training on relevant knowledge of business continuity management;Building a business continuity management platform;Third,strengthen emergency drills for business continuity management;Fourth,strengthen the updating and maintenance of business continuity plans.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of business continuity management optimization,this thesis proposes three key safeguards,including strengthening personnel construction,improving system construction,and optimizing resource construction.The application value of this thesis lies in: through in-depth analysis and research on the main problems existing in business continuity management of Bank Q,proposing effective optimization and improvement plans and implementing safeguard measures can enhance the risk response ability of Bank Q,enhance its core competitiveness,and also provide useful reference for other commercial banks of the same size to guide their practice in the construction of business continuity management system and daily management. |
