In recent years,factors such as the China-US trade war and the COVID-19 pandemic have posed unpredictable challenges to the automotive manufacturing industry.There have been issues with supplier capacity shortages and market shortages,particularly with a widespread shortage of chips in electronic components.This has elevated the demand for supply chain management in companies to a new level.LS Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company is a company that specializes in providing automotive customers with parts and also undertakes some consumer product OEM production.There are three main categories of products: intelligent cockpit,intelligent networking,and autonomous driving.Among them,the intelligent cockpit is further divided into sensors,human-machine interface systems,control,and actuators;the intelligent networking is subdivided into antennas,gateways,etc.;and the intelligent driving is divided into cameras,millimeter wave radar,etc.Due to the impact of the China-US trade war and the COVID-19 pandemic,LS Company’s production and procurement costs have been continuously rising,while project profit margins have been decreasing.Additionally,there is also a constant risk of materials supply disruption.In this context,reducing procurement costs,production costs,improving project profit margins,ensuring supply chain security,optimizing supply chain management,and enhancing corporate competitiveness are pressing issues for LS Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company.This study employed literature analysis,in-depth interviews,case studies,as well as supply chain management tools and methods.Firstly,the paper analyzed the original supply chain of LS Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company,including customer management,procurement management,production planning management,raw material inventory management,and logistics management.The study expounded on the problems encountered by LS Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company in its current stage of supply chain management and the reasons for their occurrence.Drawing upon relevant theories and experiences in supply chain management,this paper proposed measures for optimizing supply chain management for LS Company.Customer management optimization mainly uses the ABC classification method to classify and manage customers;procurement management optimization is achieved through optimizing organization and precise demand planning;production plan management optimization is established by establishing a return material process and a master production plan;raw material inventory management optimization mainly uses the VMI mode to manage;logistics management optimization is achieved by thoroughly screening freight forwarding companies and setting up an internal transportation fleet.Finally,starting from the perspective of supply chain optimization and guarantee,we can draw inspiration from the efficient supply chain management of LS Automobile Parts Manufacturing Company.The main conclusion of the paper is that supply chain management optimization has achieved the collaborative management of the supply chain for LS automobile parts manufacturing company,and also promoted the improvement of customer management and internal production management levels,thereby enhancing the overall management level of the enterprise.The optimized supply chain management has effectively integrated the product flow,information flow,fund flow,and logistics of LS auto parts manufacturing company’s supply chain management,and further enhanced the company’s value creation ability.It has reduced the company’s procurement costs,improved procurement quality and service levels,and played a significant role in enhancing LS auto parts manufacturing company’s competitive advantage.Enterprise supply chain management is a dynamic process that requires continuous evaluation,correction,and adjustment during implementation,followed by further evaluation,correction,and adjustment to improve the supply chain management system. |
