After completing the historical task of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, the Party’s 20 th Report clearly stated the new goals and tasks of achieving obvious and substantive results in achieving common prosperity for all the Chinese people by 2035.As the only municipality directly under the Central Government in the western region and the national comprehensive reform pilot zone for coordinating urban and rural areas,Chongqing has a vast territory and a large population. In 2022,Chongqing’s total GDP will surpass Guangzhou to become the "fourth city" of China’s economy and make decisive achievements. But on the other hand,Chongqing is also faced with a series of problems, such as the large income gap between urban and rural areas, the industrial level is not high enough, the weak independent innovation ability of science and technology, and the imperfect coordination mechanism of "one district and two groups".It is the urgent development problem that needs to be paid attention to and solved to promote high-quality development and solid promotion of common prosperity. Therefore,a systematic investigation of the spatial and temporal differentiation pattern and influencing factors of the urban and rural income gap in Chongqing has important theoretical value and practical significance in the new era background. In order to accurately grasp the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics and laws of the urban and rural income gap in Chongqing,This paper selects the panel data of all districts and counties in Chongqing from 2009 to 2021,Taking the urban-rural income ratio as the basic measure,Using software such as Stata,ArcGIS,and GeoDA,Using tyre index and its decomposition and spatial regression model,To depict the relative differences, spatial and temporal pattern, spatial and temporal transfer path and evolution trend of urban and rural residents in "one district and two groups" and its 37 districts and counties in Chongqing;Further explore and analyze the influence factors of urban-rural income gap in Chongqing in different regions,Explore the spatial evolution law and driving mechanism of urban and rural income gap.The results show :(1)in terms of timing changes, the overall income gap between urban and rural areas and Chongqing fluctuates, and the widening gap between urban and rural areas contributes the most;the spatial distribution pattern of urban income and rural income is "high in the west and low in the east",while the spatial distribution pattern of urban and rural income gap is "low in the west and high in the east".(2)In terms of spatial autocorrelation, the global Moran’I index fluctuates in the range of 0.593~0.772,showing a trend of decreasing first, then decreasing. In terms of spatial correlation type, the four significant types are mainly HH zone and LL area, with characteristics of local plate agglomeration.(3)The hot spots of urban-rural income gap are always located in the urban group of southeast Chongqing and the urban group of northeast Chongqing, while the cold point area is located in the central urban area and the main city new area for a long time, with obvious characteristics of spatial agglomeration and spatial dual structure.(4)In terms of influencing factors, the upgrading of industrial structure and the degree of government intervention have a positive impact on the urban-rural income gap, while the urbanization and population education level have a negative impact on the urban-rural income gap.According to the above research conclusions, the following three thoughts are proposed to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas in Chongqing: deepening the reform of urban and rural integration, giving priority to the development of rural economy;adjusting and optimizing the layout of industrial structure, paying attention to the development of three-industry integration cluster;implementing differentiated development, and accelerating the formation of the coordinated development pattern of "one district and two groups".
