The retail industry in China is experiencing rapid growth due to the flourishing of society and the market economy.As the primary source of traditional retail,large and medium-sized chain supermarkets have been providing value to the economy and bolstering the stability of the labor market.Additionally,more and more companies are focusing on fostering staff’s sense of belonging and identity through training.The "Psychological Contract" is a crucial factor in determining whether personnel remain or depart from an organization,as it serves as a psychological connection between employees and the business.Business and academic circles are deeply concerned about how to reduce the danger of human resource loss.A thorough and systematic examination of the issue of staff turnover has been conducted by a multitude of international scholars,by analyzing and summarizing the research outcomes.According to the domestic research status quo,when our scholars analyze the problem of staff turnover,they mainly discuss it from the basic situation,causes,coping strategies and other dimensions.Although there is a lot of research on employee turnover in academic field,most of the research is from the theoretical level,and lack of industry-specific research.Scholars from both abroad and within the country delve deeper into the organization,examining two facets of psychological contract and two-dimensional,three-dimensional structure analysis;yet,there is a dearth of research into the distinction between different industries and its beneficial application.Based on the theory of psychological contract,this paper analyzes the staff turnover of XTX Company and makes a case study to provide reference for the staff turnover.A literature review and investigation is conducted to analyze the correlation between psychological contract and employee turnover in this paper.This paper clarifies the root causes of employee turnover in XTX company,and puts forward the coping strategies of employee retention based on psychological contract.This study,which examined the literature on psychological contracts and employee turnover,its theory,the research status of related studies,the results,and the relevant theory,established a strong theoretical basis for the research.This paper investigates the primary causes of employee turnover in XTX company,such as a lack of feeling of inclusion,the single progression of job advancement,and the divergence of the organization’s direction and personal objectives.To do so,it combines the psychological contract theory of XTX company,the existing personnel management,staff turnover,turnover intention,and other aspects of analysis.Through questionnaire and interview,this research is conducted.lack of feedback mechanism in employee communication,unreasonable work incentive system,etc..At last,this paper puts forward some strategies and suggestions for employee turnover in XTX company from three aspects: transaction-based psychological contract,relationship-based psychological contract and development-based psychological contract.
