| With the change of the domestic macro economy,the real estate industry has entered the era of inventory.Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic and other circumstances,the growth rate of household furnishing market has slowed down,and the industry competition has intensified,so it is faced with great opportunities and challenges.The traditional home furnishing industry has the disadvantage that competitive advantage is no longer,the development model profit declines,the investment pull is insufficient.In order to adapt to market changes and win a bigger and more potential living space,the asset-light operation model emerged at the historic moment and was quickly respected.As the asset-light operation mode has the characteristics of lightweight and flexible assets,focusing on service,less input and higher output,it has become the main direction for enterprises to explore development and practice transformation.Combining smile curve,division of labor theory and financial performance evaluation theory,this paper expounds related concepts of asset-light operation mode,takes Red Star Macalline,a leading enterprise in the home furnisances industry,as an example,and uses literature research method,case study method and comparative analysis method to summarize and analyze the financial characteristics and operation strategy of Red Star Macalline assetlight operation.Select the relevant data of enterprises from 2017 to 2021 to analyze the operating results of Red Star Macalline from three aspects: financial indicators,non-financial indicators and economic added value.It is found that the implementation of the asset-light operation mode of Red Star Macalline has a good effect,which enables the enterprise to rapidly expand the scale,promote the digital transformation,create diversified profit growth points,and promote the reduction of financial leverage.At the same time,there are also some problems,such as excessive non-current assets,no substantial change in profit model,low level of asset management,defects in capital structure,low integration of online and offline,talent shortage and loss.Finally,in view of the existing problems and the actual operation situation of the enterprise,the author puts forward the corresponding improvement methods and suggestions to reduce non-current assets,deepen diversified business,improve asset management level,optimize capital structure,pay attention to the combination of online and offline,and pay attention to human resources.It is hoped that the research of this paper can enrich the relevant theories of asset-light operation mode in household industry to a certain extent and broaden the research field of asset-light operation mode.Combined with three financial performance evaluation methods to reduce the one-sidedness of the analysis.It will play a guiding role in improving the financial performance of Red Star Macalline,help Red Star Macalline give full play to the advantages of the asset-light operation mode,and provide a certain reference for home furnishing enterprises in the current development predicament. |
