Study On The Effect Of Tourism Development On Farmers’ Income Increase In Miao Xiangshan

Accelerating the pace of rural tourism development is an important measure to meet the spiritual consumption of residents,promote the adjustment of industrial structure,and is crucial to raising local employment rate,increasing the income of local farmers,promoting local poverty alleviation,promoting stable economic growth and improving the ecological environment.With the development of Miao Xiangshan scenic spot,the diversification of tourism operations has increased the economic income of farmers in the surrounding villages and towns.Since Miao Xiangshan tourism project is still in its infancy,policies and measures are still being formulated and improved.It is an important scientific problem to be solved urgently that how to give full play to the advantages of Miaoxiangshan Resort in the surrounding towns and improve its effect on farmers’ income.This paper focuses on the effect of tourism development in Miaoxiangshan on farmers’ income,combines the relevant theories and research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on rural tourism on farmers’ income as the research basis,takes Miaoxiangshan and its surrounding villages as the research area,and makes a definition based on the tourism destination life cycle theory,participatory development theory and human capital theory.Literature research,field research and questionnaire,empirical analysis and binary Logistic regression model were used.The influence of tourism development of Miao Xiangshan on rural residents’ income is analyzed.To find the factors that affect the increase of farmers’ income after farmers participate in rural tourism.The results show that the income of farmers participating in rural tourism is higher than that of farmers not participating in rural tourism.Farmers’ income after participating in rural tourism is significantly higher than that before participating in rural tourism.Binary Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the impact of rural tourism development on the income of farmers around Miao Xiangshan,and it was concluded that the number of tourists and tourist consumption level had the most significant impact on the increase of farmers’ income,followed by the distance from the scenic area,business strategy,education level,number of working family,and tourist stay time for infrastructure construction.At present,there is still a lot of room for improvement in promoting farmers’ income.In order to promote the development of Miao Xiangshan tourism and increase farmers’ income,we should strengthen the publicity of rural tourism,encourage farmers to actively participate in and innovate rural tourism products and services,improve tourists’ stay time,strengthen tourism infrastructure construction,improve public services,strengthen vocational training,improve farmers’ quality level,and strengthen market publicity and brand construction.Measures to increase the number of tourists and improve the policy support system.
