The New Western Land-Sea Corridor connects the Silk Road Economic Belt to the north and the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road to the south, also connecting the Yangtze River Economic Belt.It is a comprehensive transport corridor jointly signed by 12 provinces and cities in Guangxi,Chongqing,Guizhou,Gansu,Qinghai,Yunnan,Xinjiang,Ningxia,Shaanxi,Sichuan,Inner Mongolia and Tibet, and Hainan Province,to promote the deep integration of transportation, logistics and economy. The logistics network of western land-sea new channel has gradually formed after several years’ connection and cooperation in a wide variety of aspects. An in-depth study of the spatial structure and spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of its logistics network plays a vital role in the prompt boom of the new corridor, from the perspective of relation evolving which considered the development from node logistics in the network, then the relationship between nodes and the overall evolution characteristics. The research of affecting factors will afford an access to gain steam for western China.Firstly, the gravity model was improved, based on the different development status of logistics nodes, resulting in unequal attraction ability of logistics gravity between nodes. The calculation results were analyzed.By considering the application of gravity model into logistics field, the entropy weight TOPSIS method is used to evaluate logistics development ability to improve the "quality" of gravity model.Considering the different economic development of provinces, economic distance is used to improve the "distance" in the gravity model. Finally,in the case of unequal attraction ability between cities, the gravity coefficient is improved from two aspects of the city’s own development ability(internal)and the size of attraction ability(external). The improved gravity model can depict the logistics network more reasonably. In the analysis of the calculation results,it is found that in the evaluation of logistics development capability,Sichuan ranks the highest, followed by most eastern and southern provinces of the west land-sea new passage region, while the northwest provinces in this corridor region have relatively weak capability of logistics development.Similar trends and characteristics were found in the measurement of logistics gravity value.Secondly, the spatio-temporal evolution features and spatial structure of logistics network were analyzed. The calculated logistics gravity data was imported into Arc GIS software for visualization of the logistics network, and then they were analyzed chronologically. The gravity performance of the logistics network of the new land-sea corridor in the west seems relatively constant on the whole. The provinces with weak and moderate associations occupy most of the regions, while the provinces with strong and strong associations are mainly concentrated in Sichuan,Chongqing,Shaanxi,Yunnan and Guangxi. In addition,it also shows that the intensity of inter-provincial contact is gradually strengthening. In the analysis of spatial structure,it is found that the intensity of logistics activities in Sichuan and Chongqing is prominent, and the centrality is higher than that in other provinces. The consequence of cohesive subgroups reveals that the division of most molecular groups is greatly affected by geographical location and gravitational relation factors, and the degree of closeness between subgroups is also greatly different, with a phenomenon that the eastern part of the region is relatively close, while the western part is relatively weak. The spatial correlation analysis demonstrates that the new land-sea passage in the west has a certain spatial correlation. Finally, based on the analysis results of spatial correlation, the spatial effect should be taken into consideration when analyzing the driving factors of the logistics network of the new land-sea corridor in the west,so the spatial Dubin model is established through the spatial adjacency matrix.By selecting indicators from two perspectives, inward force(logistics development ability)and outward force(market opening degree,Internet penetration rate, government policy support, logistics facility construction),the spatial Dubin model was constructed to analyze the driving factors of the logistics network of the new land-sea corridor in the west. The results show that logistics development ability and government policy support have a significant positive effect on the improvement of logistics potential energy, while Logistics facility construction and Internet penetration rate pose a negative effect on logistics attraction in logistics network. The degree of market opening has no significant effect on logistics potential energy in logistics network.Suggestions in the light of above research were proposed in the last part.An active promotion and expanding of the positive effects of logistics development ability is needed. The negative influence of logistics facility construction and Internet penetration rate should be controlled and reduced. |
