Research On The Competitiveness Of Logistics Industry Clusters In The Shuangcheng Economic Circle Of Chengyu Region

With the rapid development of scientific and technological information and market economy,the comprehensive development of various industries has gradually formed a phenomenon of social and economic agglomeration with scale effects such as industrial clusters.As a complex operating system,industrial cluster affects the overall development of the industry itself and restricts the economic development of the region and even the national economy.The logistics industry is one of the emerging industries that plays an important supporting role in China’s service industry.Therefore,there is also widespread concern in the academic community about its development methods and development capabilities.The formation and development of logistics industry cluster competitiveness has become the focus of modern management research.It is not only an important basis for enterprises and governments to implement strategic decisions,but also an important way to optimize the allocation of resources,improve economic efficiency,and achieve sustainable development.As the "fourth growth pole",the Chengdu-Chongqing Double City Economic Circle(hereinafter collectively referred to as Chengdu-Chongqing Region)not only has good geographical advantages and development conditions,but also has high-end manufacturing industries as support.It has initially formed a logistics industry cluster of a certain scale in the southwest region.Taking industrial clusters in Chengdu-Chongqing region as the research object and combining qualitative and quantitative research methods,not only can we deeply grasp the current situation of logistics industry cluster competitiveness in Chengdu-Chongqing region,rationally view the development of logistics industry in Chengdu-Chongqing region,clarify the positioning and future trend of logistics industry clusters in Chengdu-Chongqing region,but also can provide decision-making reference for promoting the development of logistics industry integration construction in Chengdu-Chongqing region,Promote the economic development of the Chengdu Chongqing Double City Economic Circle and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the entire southwest region.On this basis,this article takes Chengyu region as the research object to study its logistics industry cluster competitiveness.This article is mainly divided into four parts.Firstly,it combs the relevant theories and research on logistics industry clusters at home and abroad,and then qualitatively analyzes the current development situation and existing problems of logistics industry clusters in Chengdu-Chongqing region.Then,combining with the improved GEM model,it constructs a competitiveness evaluation index system for logistics industry clusters in Chengdu-Chongqing region from six aspects: resources,infrastructure,enterprises,market,government,and innovation,and collects relevant indicator data,Using the principal component analysis method,this thesis conducts a quantitative analysis of the competitiveness of logistics industry clusters in the major cities of the three economic circles in 2021 and the Chengdu-Chongqing region in the past five years,and discusses the results of qualitative analysis.Finally,it makes a comprehensive discussion for the research of this article,and puts forward development suggestions for the future improvement of the competitiveness of logistics industry clusters in the Chengdu-Chongqing region.
