Research On The Competitiveness Of Marine Engineering Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Cluster In Ring-bohai Economic Circle

Ring-Bohai economic circle is one of China’s major marine engineering equipmentmanufacturing industry clusters, and it’s also one of the key marine engineering equipmentmanufacturing industry areas in China.Marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry is a new economic growth point andan important driving force for future economic development of the Ring-Bohai economic circle.Facing with the broad prospect of marine civil engineering equipment market, how to seizeopportunities to enhance the competitiveness of industrial clusters is the most important issuewhich is the primary problem of the marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry.During the study, uses many methods such as literature review, qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and comparative analysis to take the in-depth analysis. Through the literaturereview, sorts out related researches in academic and introduce the cluster competitiveness theory tothe reach of marine engineering equipment manufacturing. Use the ‘Diamond Mode’ to makequalitative analysis of the engineering equipment manufacturing industry cluster competitivenessin Ring-Bohai economic circle. In the quantitative analysis part, introduce the ‘Spiritual Model’ asthe basis to establish evaluation index system and use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) todetermine the index weight in order to get the evaluation model. At last through the comparativeanalysis gets the problems which exist in the cluster network, cluster resources, cluster policy andcluster international competition and gives suggestions.In this paper, uses the purpose of enhancing the industry cluster competitiveness of the marineengineering equipment manufacturing in Ring-Bohai economic circle as a foothold and analysisthis industry from the perspective of industrial clusters. This paper provides valuable inspiration tomake the development strategy.
