Research On Mooncake Characteristic Industry Driving Farmers To Increase Income In Fengzhen City, Inner Mongolia

Since China put forward the rural revitalization strategy,solving the problems of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" has become the top priority of the whole Party and the whole country.The most important,fundamental and crucial aspect of rural revitalization is industrial revitalization.Industry development is the most direct and priority method to achieve farmers’ life prosperity and increase income.To develop industry,we should base on characteristic resources,pay attention to market demand,and cultivate characteristic advantageous industries.Fengzhen City is located at the border of Shanxi and Mongolia,Fengzhen mooncake is well known in the surrounding cities.In recent years,Fengzhen mooncake characteristic industry has been growing in scale and has become a pillar industry in the local area.Therefore,under the background of rural revitalization,it is of great practical significance to study Fengzhen mooncake characteristic industry to increase farmers’ income.This thesis first investigated and analyzed the characteristic industry of mooncake in Fengzhen city to understand the development status of the mooncake industry.With the title of "Whether the characteristic industry of mooncake in Fengzhen has increased your income",40 questionnaires were issued to each of the four towns and villages of the main agricultural areas of the mooncake industry: Nancheng District,Jubaozhuang Town,Longshengzhuang Town and Sanyiquan Town.Secondly,descriptive statistical analysis is made on the collected data,so as to have a further understanding of the individual and family situation,business income and wage income of the surveyed sample.Finally,according to the results of statistical analysis,14 relevant variables were selected to build a Logistic model for empirical analysis.The research draws the following conclusions:(1)The characteristic industry of mooncake in Fengzhen city has an obvious effect on farmers’ income.(2)There are some problems in the development of mooncake characteristic industry in Fengzhen city,such as low brand awareness,lack of innovation ability and no standards to follow.(3)The mooncake industry in Fengzhen City affects farmers’ income mainly through flax planting and mooncake enterprises’ part-time work,and the affected population is mainly older and less educated farmers.(4)Among the influences of mooncake industry on farmers’ income,seven factors,including education level,family labor force population,flax planting area,satisfaction degree of flax planting income,distance from family to the gathering place of mooncake industry,expected daily wage of mooncake enterprises and mastery of mooncake making technology,are the main factors affecting farmers’ income.In addition,due to differences in participation methods,regions,years and other aspects,the effect of mooncake industry on farmers’ income in Fengzhen City also differs significantly among different groups.Based on the above conclusions,this thesis puts forward the following suggestions:First,the government supports and guides the development of the industry,encourages enterprises to explore and innovate,expands the market of mooncake enterprises,and enhances the competitiveness of mooncake enterprises.The second is to vigorously promote cooperative operation,promote order planting methods,and ensure that the mooncake industry can better drive farmers’ operating income.The third is to improve the public service system,strengthen vocational education and training,and provide help for the mooncake industry to increase farmers’ wage income.Fourth,vigorously promote the mooncake tourism festival to drive farmers’ tourism income.
