| The traditional agricultural production model has certain limitations,the efficiency is not high,and the ability to resist risks is poor.In recent years,with the support of the State’s preferential policies,peasant professional cooperatives have shown a rapid growth trend in their total number.As of the end of April 2021,the number of agricultural cooperatives registered in accordance with the law exceeded 2.26 million,while the number of United cooperatives reached 14,000.The number of farmers’ cooperatives is growing rapidly,but the operation and management of cooperatives is still not standardized,there are problems in the internal governance structure,and most of the cooperative managers cannot meet the needs of cooperative growth in terms of cooperation awareness,professional skills,management level and marketing concept,so that there is a gap in the management ability of cooperatives,so farmers’ professional cooperatives urgently need to introduce professional managers with professional management knowledge.This study conducts field research on three case cooperatives,interviews and questions on the performance of farmers’ professional cooperatives and the competence of agricultural professional managers,and comprehensively understands the real situation of agricultural professional managers affecting the performance of cooperatives.Raw data is obtained through online and offline research,semi-structured interviews,etc.,and the real data is provided for the subsequent research.The qualitative method of rooting theory is used to obtain the competence factors of agricultural professional managers that affect the performance of farmers’ professional cooperatives,and the mechanism of action of each factor is analyzed,and corresponding suggestions are made according to the results obtained and the actual situation.Through field research and analysis,the competency factors of four agricultural professional managers affecting the performance of farmers’ professional cooperatives are summarized,namely cognitive matrix,personality tendency,communication and coordination,and leadership.At the same time,these four factors are summarized as two core factors of internal characteristics and communication leadership,and the cognitive matrix is analyzed to indirectly affect the performance of farmers’ professional cooperatives by influencing personality tendencies and leadership,and personality tendencies,communication coordination and leadership can directly affect the performance of farmers’ professional cooperatives.Through the analysis of the competence of agricultural professional managers and the analysis of the current situation of case cooperatives,corresponding opinions are put forward for the selection,training,and motivation of agricultural professional managers.As an important part of the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,cooperatives also need advanced,intelligent and mechanized systems and equipment to ensure the development of cooperatives. |
