In the process of continuous development of social economy,science and technology,IT has become an indispensable part to meet people’s growing needs for a better life.With the continuous development and growth of IT industry,the competition among enterprises has become increasingly fierce.People are the carriers of business activities,so the competition of enterprises is the competition of talents.For enterprise development,moderate employee mobility contributes to fresh blood for the enterprise and provides new ideas for the company’s technological innovation and product development.However,frequent replacement of IT staff will not only affect the cohesion of the team,but also may cause the rise of human resource cost,even may lead to the information disclosure of the core technology and business secrets of IT enterprises,which will bring a fatal blow to the enterprise.Thus,how to implement effective management and establish a healthy and benign employee mobility system meanwhile reduce the IT staff turnover rate is the primary problem that small and medium-sized IT companies need to solve.Firstly,this thesis elaborates the domestic and foreign research literature theories,defines the concepts and characteristics of IT employees,and analyzes the main factors influencing IT employees’ turnover.Employees’ satisfaction on salary and welfare,working environment,management methods,job,career development,and the impact on employee turnover intentions are collected by conducting resignation interviews and designing questionnaires.At the same time,through a brief analysis of the current characteristics of the number,gender,age,education,marriage,and other aspects of the current Z company’s IT employees,it is concluded that the main factors affecting the turnover of the Z company’s employees in the IT industry are dissatisfaction with personal salary,small room for career development,and No confidence in the company’s development prospects,etc.Based on the above factors,the reason model for the IT employees’ demission is developed,and the improvement measures will be adopted to improve employees’ satisfaction and reduce employees’ turnover rate,such as optimizing the recruitment process and the salary and welfare policy,establishing salary adjustment mechanism and stock option,expanding employees’ promotion pathway,improving the level of management and strengthening corporate cultural construction.Compared with the employee turnover problem of previous research literatures,in combination with the practical situation of Z company,this thesis mainly aims at the research on the factors that influence IT employees’ turnover and establishes a line of employees’ satisfaction questionnaires for Z company’s IT employees.The SPSS25 system is adopted to analyze the questionnaires,and the practical improvement measures are formulated based on actual conditions.Because of the problems arising from the questionnaires combining with the actual situation of the company,a practical and feasible countermeasure is developed to reduce the IT staff turnover rate,which not only helps to reduce the negative impact of the high turnover rate of IT staff but also provides a useful reference for the improvement of the management level of IT staff in other similar companies.This is also the positive significance of this study.
