Research On The Integrated Development Of Tea And Tourism In Mengku Town,Shuangjiang County,Yunnan Province

In the context of a new era of rural revitalization,global tourism,industrial integration,and experiential economy,in order to adapt to the development of the times and changes in supply and demand,the integration of the tea industry and tourism has become a trend in the development of the tea industry.The integration of tea and tourism is a new industry created by combining tea culture and tea producing areas through the development mode of industrialization.Its purpose is to realize the organic integration of the primary industry,the secondary industry and the tertiary industry.The tea tourism integration project has become one of the strong driving forces for the development of the tourism market and a key word for the development of the tea industry in multiple regions across the country.As a leading industry in Mengku Town,Shuangjiang County,the tea industry has advantages in various tourism resources such as environment,tea tree germplasm,and ethnic minority culture.The continuous changes in consumer demand in the tourism market and the gradual warming of tourism development have laid the foundation for promoting the integrated development of tea and tourism in Mengku Town.Through the effective integration and development of tea tourism,it can not only bring economic benefits to the local area,but also provide new ideas for entrepreneurs to alleviate local employment pressure.This paper takes the tea and tourism industries in Mengku Town as examples to analyze the development status of the tea and tourism industries.Based on theories such as system coupling and industry integration,an evaluation index system for the development of tea and tourism industries in Mengku Town is constructed,and based on this,the tea and tourism industries in the region are evaluated.A coupling measurement model was constructed to measure the degree of integration and collaboration between two industries,and the entropy method was used to empirically study the development level,mechanism,and influencing factors of the tea tourism integration industry in Mengku Town.Using the questionnaire survey method,a field survey was conducted on the evaluation of 215 households in Mengku Town on the integrated development of tea tourism.The research results show that:(1)The coupled collaborative model conducted empirical research on the overall development level of tea and tourism in Mengku Town: it shows that the overall development level of tea and tourism in Mengku Town is on the rise,and the gap between the two is constantly narrowing;The synchronous type from 2016 to2019 was the tea industry lag type,,while the synchronous type from 2020 to 2022 was the tourism industry lag type,.The degree of coupling and coordination between tea industry and tourism has changed from severe incoordination to primary coordination,and the number of coupling and coordination degree is also increasing year by year.There is interaction between the tea industry and tourism industry,and their degree of integration is constantly enhanced.(2)The grey correlation analysis method conducted an empirical study on the influencing factors of the integration of tea industry and tourism in Mengku Town.It was found that factors such as enterprises,market demand,and industrial foundation have a significant positive effect on the integration of tea industry and tourism.Through on-site investigation and empirical analysis of data,it was found that government policies are important leaders and play a guiding role in the development of tea tourism integration;The market demand and industrial foundation have played a promoting role in promoting the integration of tea and tourism,and enterprises are mainly the main body promoting the integration and development of tea and tourism.(3)Based on a questionnaire survey of 215 households,three conclusions were drawn.Tea is the main source of income for residents in Mengku Town;The reason for the significant monthly income difference among residents in Mengku Town is due to different preferences for the tea products they produce;The integrated development of tea tourism in Mengku Town has a certain foundation,but the overall development is insufficient and the benefits are not obvious.(4)According to the current situation and existing problems of the integration of tea industry and tourism industry in Mengku Town,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward based on theoretical analysis and empirical analysis.Strengthening the infrastructure construction of the tea industry and tourism industry;Give full play to the guiding role of the government in the integration of tea and tourism construction;Play a market-oriented guiding role;Utilize the advantages of enterprises to promote the integration of tea and tourism.Mengku Town has rich tea industry resources and tourism industry resources,which provide conditions for the integrated development of tea and tourism.However,"using tea to assist travel and promoting tea through tourism" has not been well utilized and produced high-quality benefits in Mengku Town.The current situation and empirical analysis of the integrated development of tea and tourism in Mengku Town indicate that the integrated development of tea and tourism is a suitable path for the industrial upgrading and development of Mengku Town.It has played a positive role in promoting the integrated development of tea and tourism in Mengku Town,and provided theoretical reference for further consolidating and enhancing the economic status of Mengku Town’s tea industry and enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of the tourism industry.
