Study On Financial Risk Management And Prevention Of ZA Internet Insurance Company

With the development of the Internet and the widespread use of big data,the insurance industry has seen the emergence of Internet insurance companies that specialize in the Internet,and it has been nearly ten years since the first Internet insurance company was approved by the CBRC in 2013.As insurance companies are characterized by liability management,the research on financial risk management of insurance companies has been flourishing.As a new industry in the insurance industry,the study of financial risk management of Internet insurance companies cannot be ignored.The products of Internet insurance companies are closely related to customers’ daily life scenarios,and customers’ insurance and insurance companies’ claims are more frequent.Therefore,the financial risk management of Internet insurance companies is directly related to the legal rights and interests of customers in their daily lives,and the study of financial risk management of Internet insurance companies has greater practical significance.This paper takes ZA Insurance Company,the first domestic Internet insurance company,as the research object,and first introduces the concepts of Internet insurance,Internet insurance company,and financial risk.In the case study section,based on the financial report data of ZA Insurance Company from 2017 to 2021,an overview of the financial situation of ZA Insurance Company is given first,followed by the risk identification of the financial risk of ZA Insurance Company in the funding segment,investment segment,and working capital segment respectively according to the financial risk management procedure.After that,the Z-value model,an early warning model for financial risk,was used for risk assessment,and the results showed that the financial risk of ZA Insurance Company was high.Finally,we propose corresponding financial risk control measures,including specific measures to improve debt structure,optimize asset structure,reasonably allocate investment amounts,and improve the recovery rate of premiums receivable.Through the study of financial risk management and prevention of ZA insurance company in this paper,we expect that it will be helpful to ZA insurance company,and we also hope that it will be useful to our peers and even other industries.
