| With the in-depth development of international competition and economic globalization,the cultivation of core and key technologies is becoming more and more important.As high-tech industries are the leading industry in the manufacturing industry and an important link in the competition of comprehensive national strength,how to achieve their healthy development has become an important issue for China’s economic development in the new era.Looking back at the development history of China’s high-tech industry,China’s high-tech industry has experienced a difficult development process from backward to catching up,and has now entered a path of steady growth.Nowadays,China’s economic development has entered a new stage,and the development of high-tech industries still has a series of problems to be solved,such as low labor productivity and weak ability of independent innovation.In order to realize the sustainable development of high-tech industries in the new era,solve the development problems of high-tech industries,and improve the total factor productivity of high-tech industries is extremely critical.Therefore,this paper takes total factor productivity as an entry point,discusses the current situation and changing trends of total factor productivity in China’s high-tech industry from both theoretical and empirical aspects,and makes a systematic study on its influencing factors.From a theoretical point of view,this paper firstly conducts a systematic literature review from three aspects: high-tech industry,total factor productivity,high-tech industry and total factor productivity,and presents the research achievements of scholars in recent years.Then,this paper classifies the factors that affect total factor productivity by referring to the existing research results,and briefly discuss the influence mechanism of the variables selected in the paper.From an empirical point of view,this paper first uses statistical data to make a systematic analysis of the development situation of China’s high-tech industry by region and industry during the research period,and summarizes the problems existing in the development process.Then,this paper uses the DEA-Malmquist method to measure the total factor productivity of China’s high-tech industries in detail from the perspectives of region,time and industry and discuss its convergence trend.Research shows that overall,the total factor productivity of China’s high-tech industries is increasing,and there are differences in the growth of total factor productivity among different regions,years and industries.On this basis,this paper selects appropriate influencing variables,uses the panel data model to discuss the specific influence degree of the variables,and combines with the influence mechanism to analyze.The study found that,on the whole,except for foreign direct investment,the influence of each influencing variable on total factor productivity is positive,but the degree is different.From the perspective of specific regions,the impact of some influencing variables such as government support and infrastructure on total factor productivity varies greatly.Finally,according to the empirical results of the paper,this paper puts forward specific suggestions from five aspects: government guidance,financial support,talent cultivation,industrial transfer and infrastructure construction,in order to realize the sustainable development of high-tech industries. |
