Research On The Application Of RPA In Z Securities Fund Custody And Outsourcing Business

As China’s economic development enters a new era,the financing capacity of the capital market will become the new engine of China’s economic development.In the foreseeable future,China’s capital market will have a huge development,and the investors in the capital market will also be mainly changed from individual investors to institutional investors.As the assets managed by institutional investors are mainly in the form of fund products,the prosperity of fund products,especially private fund products,will bring about the rapid growth of custody and outsourcing business However,the development history of fund custody outsourcing business is short,the operation level is low,and there are regulatory requirements for data isolation.How to use the progress of IT technology to improve the operation efficiency under the premise of meeting regulatory requirements is an urgent problem for the custody outsourcing industry to solve.In this paper,it take Z securities custody department as the object,research was conducted by literature method,expert interviews and questionnaire survey.First of all,Overview of research status of business process reengineering(BPR)and Robotic Process Automation(RPA)at home and abroad.Then it describes the problems that Z securities custody department currently has in fund custody and outsourcing operation,such as high single product operation cost,bottleneck of operation efficiency,difficulty in cross team collaboration,and difficulty in maintaining market share.Then,according to the theoretical basis of business process reengineering and RPA,this paper analyzes the above problems,and obtains a solution to the problem of Z securities’ custody and outsourcing business operation process through RPA.Next,it describes the scheme,steps,scope,specific implementation process and how to implement risk management in the transformation of the custody outsourcing business of Z securities custody department by combining the Eliminate Simplify Integrate Automate(ESIA)transformation method of RPA and business process reengineering.Finally,it expounds the effect of improving internal operation efficiency,reducing human cost and improving cross team collaboration ability through this transformation,and takes RPA as an innovative product to output to institutional managers to help Z securities custody department consolidate its current advantages in external competition.On the surface of the implementation results,the research results of this paper will help Z securities custody department improve the capability of custody outsourcing business,and also provide reference for other custody outsourcing institutions in the industry.
