Geologic hazards are in possession of natural and socioeconomicattributes, but, at considerable span of time, scholars both here and abroadstill research geologic hazards as a kind of natural phenomenon or geologicalaction. In company with science developing and the need of subtractingdisaster, the risk investigation of attributes conjoint between naturalquality and socioeconomic attribute begins with it.For the moment, the risk evaluation and risk zoning of geologic hazards,at home and abroad, are the leading geologic hazards or environmental geologyresearch area, not having sophisticated theory and means and still insearching stage. The subject took Tang Shan City, Hebei province as studydestination, meanwhile, for the first time established the said city riskevaluation model which is consisted of risk, vulnerability and disaster-holdbody and completed geologic hazards risk zoning, combined the city geologichazards developing characteristics, based on studying and using both hereand abroad production, research technique. This study has developed geologichazards risk investigation theory and means, enhancing geologic hazards riskevaluation and risk zoning system, which is consisted of critical evaluation, vulnerability assessment and disaster-hold body.1.Critical evaluation:established geologic hazards critical evaluationmodel, consisted of information content forecast, blur overall merit and greydegree of association analyses. meanwhile, used GIS technology to proceedrisk zoning of six kinds of geologic hazards including collapse-landslide,debris flow, karstic collapse, stoped area collapse, Earthquake fluidify andland subsidence. This risk zoning is divided into five levels of serioussection, moderate section, gentleness section, mired section and non-calamity section.;Established the computation module of geologic hazardsprobability, by combining weather hydrology and the history situation of adisaster of occurrence and field sample survey, and computed probability ofoccurrence of collapse-landslide, debris flow, karstic collapse, stopedarea collapse and Earthquake fluidify.2.Vulnerability assessment:adopted many methods such as sampling surveymethod from the field and Delphi technique method ascertained thevulnerability of six kinds of geologic hazards including collapse-landslide,debris flow karstic collapse, stoped area collapse, Earthquake fluidify andland subsidence towards population, corporeal property(sixteen kinds)andland resources(eight kinds), computation syntheses vulnerability materialwealth and land resources.3. Risk evaluation:established risk evaluation models of probabilityreckoning methods, shadow engineering approach and rehabilitation costmethods;used GIS technology to vector superposition analyses with risk plotplan, vulnerability plot plan and value and quantity chart of disaster-holdbody;reckoned the risk and aggregate risk of collapse-landslide, debrisflow, karstic collapse, stoped area collapse, Earthquake fluidify and landsubsidence towards population, material wealth and land resources byvillages and towns;divided geologic hazards risk sections(risk serious highsection, high section, moderate section, sub-risk section, very low section).after computing, Tang Shan City population security aggregate risk is233.6994 person /a, material wealth aggregate risk for 20007.0057 myriadYuan /a,land resources aggregate risk for 33713.7365 myriad Yuan /a.Geologic hazards risk investigation is a very complicated work, and isin the searching development stage for the moment. this article is ourresearch outcome. We will enjoy our outcome and think approach and methodswith all of the company crafts, we'll hope to keep on searching and innovationupper the existence foundation with the spirit of keeping pace with the timeand make geologic hazards risk zoning gain much more plentiful andsubstantial harvest, meanwhile, make disaster-subtracting (geologic hazards)more effective.
