Mark County Geological Hazards Risk Assessment And Control Measures

Humanity is facing the four issues of Population,resources,environment and disaster reduction.Geologic hazards are in possession of natural and socioeconomic attributes,In company with science developing and the need of subtracting disaster,the risk investigation of attributes conjoint between natural quality and socioeconomic attribute begins with it.There is 90%of the land area is mountainous in Daguan county,the ecological environment is quite vulnerable,geological hazards struck the area frequently,which is one of the counties in Yunnan Province suffered the most serious geological disasters.Today geological hazards problem is one of the major restraining factors of which is now still hard to get rid during the course of economic development in Daguan County.In order to actualize the stratagem of sustainable development in Daguan County,it is an imperative task to strengthen the management of geological environment and prevention and cure of geological hazards.For the moment,the risk evaluation and risk zoning of geologic hazards,at home and abroad,are the leading geologic hazards or environmental geology research area,not having sophisticated theory and means and still insearching stage. The thesis relies on the project—"geology hazard investigation and preventing and curing project of Ludian and Da-Guan".The subject took Da -Guan County, Yunnan province as study destination,meanwhile,for the first time established the said County risk evaluation model which is consisted of risk,and vulnerability and completed geologic hazards risk zoning,combined the city geologic hazards developing characteristics,based on studying and using both here and abroad production,research technique.This study has developed geologic hazards risk investigation theory and means,enhancing geologic hazards risk evaluation and risk zoning system,which is consisted of critical evaluation,vulnerability assessment and disaster-hold body.major creative outcome has been obtained as follows:1.Critical evaluation:established geologic hazards critical evaluation model, consisted of AHP and blur overall merit,meanwhile,used GIS technology to proceed risk zoning.Based on the risk index of the 510 units,this risk zoning is divided into three levels of serious section,moderate section,gentleness section.2.Vulnerability assessment:adopted many methods such as AHP method and Delphi technique method ascertained the vulnerability of geologic hazards of Da-Guan county towards population,corporeal property and land resources,used GIS technology to proceed Vulnerability zoning.3.Risk evaluation:based on the outcome of Critical evaluation and Vulnerability assessment,established risk evaluation models;used GIS technology to proceed risk zoning plot plan;divided geologic hazards risk sections(risk serious high section,high section,sub-high section,moderate section,sub-risk section).4.countermeasures:In this paper,some suggestion for reduce hazards are put forward according to the result of risk evaluation.
