ABSTRACT In this treatise, through animal experiments in which animal models of cerebral ischemia injury by line embolism are made, and with advanced techniques such as optical microscope, radioim- munoassay, immunohistochemical method, the probable mechanism of pulse magnetic needle apparatus treating ischemic apoplexy are studied. The results show that: 1 .The animal models are successfully copied since they are very familiar to the very nature that cerebral ischemia in human owns detected by examination finding through optical microscope; 2.The pulse magnetic needle apparatus manifest the antidarnage neurotic function to cerebral ischemia. 3.The pulse magnetic needle apparatus can increase the expres- sion of bFGF, prolong the time of expression, improve blood supply, abate injury of CNS. 4.The pulse magnetic needle apparatus can increase expression of TGF- f3 ~, prolong the time of expression, improve blood supply, abate poisoning injury of CNS, accelerate neuron to renovation 5.The pulse magnetic needle apparatus can increase expression of NGF and BDNF, prolong the time of expression, abate ischemic injury of neuron, provide nutritive environment for neuron to renovation and regeneration. 6.The pulse magnetic needle apparatus can obviously lower ET-l that ischemia stimulate it to elevate in early stage of ischemia, recover early it to normal level to diastolizate blood vessel, improve blood supply, decrease area of cerebral infarction. 7.There is same treatment effect between the pulse magnetic needle apparatus and the filiform needle on rat of cerebral ischemia 4 i nj U ry. 8.The pulse magnetic needle apparatus has the advantage of nontraumaticsuture, indolence, noninfection, general use, accepta- nce by patient. The research results show that the pulse magnetic needle apparatus can play a significant anti-damage role to cerebral ischemia through a multiple-channelled synthetically mechanism to accelerate renovation of CNS. So that, the pulse magnetic needle apparatus become a eutherapeutic convenient therapeutic equip- ments to patients with a brilliant prospect.
