Influence To Angiotensin Ⅱ Level Of Tangshenkang In Early Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective The objective of this experiment is to study the action to renal hemodynamic and the influnence to Angiotensin II level of Tangshenkang which is pure herb formula and which has the function of strengthing the spleen and kidney and relieving turbid and removing blood stasis in early diabetic nephropathy. And we also research the mechanism of Tangshenkang to prevent and cure diabetic nephropathy to provide experimental evidence for the clinic medicine. Methods The STZ-induced diabetic rats were made as experimental model, and Gliquidon and Lotensin were used as positive control drugs. The treatment time is eight-week long, we observed the change of renal hemodynamic, and also the level of angiotensin II which influence renal hemodynamic, urea-microalbumin, blood glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, and HbA,c. Results The results show that Tangshenkang has good therapeutic in early DN. It can improve the renal hemodynamic and renal function markedly. Also, it can decrease the urea-microalbum. The level of angiotensin II descended. At the same time, the blood glucose, blood lipid, and HbA,c were all improved effectively. Conclusion At last, we concluded that the reduction of angiotensin II may be an important factor in the abnormal changes of renal hemodynamic. Tangshenkang can effectively prevent and cure DN and manifests good entirety effect. Improving the levels of angiotensin II and so to improve renal hemodynamics may be one of principal mechanisms of the prophylactico-therapeutic action of Tangshenkang on DN.
