Objective: This article discussed the clinical effective of Busuishengxue granule to chronic aplastic anemia (CAA) patients, and observed the difference in expression level of myelo-cytokine c-kit/CD117, c-Met/HGF and CD34~+ cell in CAA patients before and after treatment.Method: 60 CAA patients taken into account were divided into experiment group and control group at random by SAS software in which 30 patients in the former group while 28 in the latter one( 2 patients were lost). Three months was described as one period of treatment. After two periods, clinical effect was observed, the change of hemogram, myelogram and the expression level of myelo-cytokine c-kit/CD117, c-Met/HGF and CD34~+ cell were analyzed.This experiment employed reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method to exam the change of expression level of bone marrow mononuclear cell (BMMC) c-kit receptor mRNA, c-met receptor mRNA and its ligand HGF mRNA. In addition, this experiment explored the expression level of bone marrow hematopoietic cell CD34~+ and its c-kit receptor protein CD117 with flow cytometer method (FCM).RESULT: 1.The effect of Busuishengxue granule to CAA was superior to that of AABET. In experimental group, the curative effect in Yang deficiency type was superior to that in Yin deficiency type (P<0.05). 2.The expression level of bone marrow hematopoietic cell CD34~+ cell in CAA patients was lower than that of the control group. After treatment the expression level in two groups were enhanced to different extend. The enhancement in experimental group was superior to that in contral group.
