A Phonological Study Of Goulou Yue Dialects In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

This thesis regards the first-handed datum of Goulou Yue Dialect in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region(GYDGX) province as the research object, at the same time refers to the other datum of Yue Dialect. we sum up the phonological features by depicting the sound system of different Goulou Yue Dialects in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. We also conclude the processes and rules of the phonological evolution of GYDGX according to synchronic and diachronic comparisons.The whole thesis is divided into four chapters.Chapter1 is a general introduction, including the purpose, the research value, the methods and materials of the research, together with a summary of the previous studies related. Then we introduces the distribution of the GYDGX and estimating the population of the GYDGX in each county or city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Chapter2 is the phonological features of GYDGX.Based on the the first-handed datum and compared with the datum of Goulou Yue Dialect in Guangdong province we describe the features of initials,finals and tones,and then sum up the phonological similarities and differences of the Goulou Yue Dialect.In chapter3,we discuss some important features phonological system concernded with GYDGX.We focus on fives topics:the unaspirated pronunciation of voiced consonants of Middle Chinese,the historical division of initials of JingZhiZhuangZhang(精知庄章),the development initial-group of Jian(见)in the rime-group of LiuShenZhen(流深臻)in GYDGX,the tone-split by the aspiration in GYDGX,the creak-tone in GYDGX.The end is the conclusion. It includes the summary of conclusions and inadequacy of this thesis.
