Study On Yun Tieqiao’s Confluence Thought Of Chinese And Western Medicines

Objective: This dissertation based on the literature data for the research, comprehensively studies the related details of Yun Tieqiao’s confluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines. On the basis of the in-depth study of Yun’sconfluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines, thisdissertation puts forward the enlightenment ofconfluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines on the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in modern times.Methods:This dissertation takes historical research method, literature research method. It comprehensively studies the formationbasis ofYun’s confluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines,and presents systematically Yun’s confluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines.Results:Yun Tieqiao’sconfluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines is mainly reflected in the following five aspects:recognizing objectively the differences between TCM and Western medicine;taking TCM theory as the main body;improving TCM and its methods;carring outthe confluence of Chinese and Western Medicines in clinical practice;proposing the establishment of a new TCM. The enlightenment of Yun Tieqiao’s confluence thought of Chinese and Western Medicines includes objectivelyunderstanding thedifficultyin combination of TCM and Western Medicines; studying deeply the differences between TCM and Western medicine; carrying out multidisciplinary research in TCM andencouraging innovation.Conclusion:Yun Tieqiao was proficient in TCM.Hewas affected by the prevailing circumstances at that time to a certain extent to carry out the confluence of Chinese and Western Medicines. His purpose was to preserve TCM. He managed to perform the confluence of Chinese and Western Medicines on the basis of his objective understanding of the differences betweenTCM and Western Medicine,and to put forward new ideas,such as the improvement of TCM and thefounding of a new TCM. To carry out the confluence of Chinese and Western Medicines, Yun Tieqiao carried out comprehensivepractice researchinprinciple-method-recipe-medicines.Many of Yun’s ideas have great significance in studying the modern combination of TCM and Western Medicines.
