OBJECTIVE:Based on the holistic thinking of "Four-Seaons,Five-Zang Organs,Yin and Yang" theory of Chinese medicine, through literature research and clinical case analysis, the significant effect of "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" method in preventing and treating common diseases in Singapore was discussed and studied. To put forward the law of"Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" method applied in Singapore,so as to provide methods and ideas for Chinese medicine to serve the people in the country and to the world at large.METHODS:First,a literature study was conducted to collect, collate, and analyze the ancient and modern literatures related to the "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang"method.Second is to collect medical cases from the World of TCM Medicare Center in Singapore in the past five years and conduct investigation and analysis to evaluate the effect and prognosis of the treatment.Through retrospective analysis,we have selected six common ailments, namely dysentery(cancer),dizziness(hypertension),diabetes(diabetes),edema(nephropathy),stomach pain(chronic gastritis),insomnia(insomnia). All patients received medical treatment with Chinese medicine at the World of TCM Medicare Center in Singapore. In the form of a questionnaire survey, patients' follow-up surveys were conducted to analyze the relationship between the onset of illness and climate, environment and diet. The effect and prognosis of the treatment were explored through the method of "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang",which provided evidence and guidance for clinical medication and preventive measures. On Windows 7 platform, the "Chinese Traditional Medicine Heritage Supporting Platform" software was used to input 253 cases of data such as patient basic data(age, gender, etc.),main complaints, symptoms and prescriptions after preliminary analysis and screening. The software has improved the entropy method, complex system entropy clustering and other new algorithms to mine the data.By analyzing the TCM syndromes, prescriptions and their correlation data to obtain the statistical results to explore the efficacy of the application of "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" method on the clinical adaptability and efficacy of Singapore's six major common diseases namely dysentery(cancer),dizziness(hypertension),diabetes(diabetes),edema(nephropathy),stomach pain(chronic gastritis),insomnia(insomnia)etc. Results:Literature studies suggested that the method of"Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" was documented in the era of the "Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine".From the perspective of "correspondence between people and nature" and "the union of heaven and human beings",it has been discussed and exerted in later generations.A large number of literatures have also indicated that the holistic theory-based of "Four-Seasons,Five-Zang Organs,Yin and Yang" has important theoretical and practical values for the development of traditional Chinese medicine theory and provides guidance for the unique application on clinical treatment. Conclusion:In the exploratory study of clinical applications, through the analysis of the 253 cases of 6 major common diseases in Singapore, descriptive analysis, association rule analysis, and complex system entropy clustering were used to effectively demonstrate the application of data mining for medical case analysis. It helps to obtain the herbal compatibility rules on the use of high-frequency drugs,high-frequency symptoms, commonly used two flavors, three flavors, four flavors herbs etc.Through the“Syndrome Detecting from Recipe" and the characteristics of clinical treatment on "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" concept, provides a theoretical and clinical basis applicable to Singapore's tropical and humid climate and countries alike,in the prevention and treatment of these diseases using Chinese medicine.Significance:Combining the results of clinical data analysis with literature research, the paper used the basic principles of the "Four-Seasons,Five-Zang Organs,Yin and Yang"holism theory of traditional Chinese medicine to explore the therapeutic mechanisms of"Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" in six major common diseases in Singapore.Applicability and practicability have not only proposed relevant application measures, but also provided new ideas and approaches for the prevention and treatment of these diseases, providing a basis for the role of Chinese medicine holistic concepts in clinical diagnosis and treatment, and innovatively promotes the development of Chinese medicine into the world. On the other hand,by deploying the concept of "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang"on diseases that reflects symptoms lookalike of "Yin Deficiency"(actually "Yang Deficiency)in tropical counties,it has not only emphasized on treatment regime based on "Four-Seasons,Five-Zang Organs,Yin and Yang”holism theory,it has also a created a new historic entrance into Chinese Medicine literatures of Singapore with clinical proves.Skillfully use of herbs with "Gan" and "Hot" attributes such as roasted licorice, aconite, dried ginger and other herbs to treat Singapore's 6 major common diseases. This has not only embodies the unique traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation techniques,it is also a "first-order" pioneering work in Singapore.Using the traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistant System software V2.5,applying association rules(Apriori algorithm),complex system entropy clustering and other data mining methods, the commonly used "herbs use frequency",four-qi and five characteristic, the group herbs application law,the core herb combination and so on were analyzed for 6 major common diseases in Singapore. It is precedent in Singapore to deploy the "Warming and Recuperating Kidney Yang" as the dialectical thought and research methods on those 6 diseases. The deployment of the above initiatives in tropical marine climate countries such as Singapore,is not accidental,it attaches great importance and evidence to the use of traditional Chinese medicine "Four-Seasons,Five-Zang Organs,Yin and Yang" as a set of holism theories in the clinical diagnosis and treatment.Through Singapore,a modern and cosmopolitan city,it provides another powerful channel for promoting Chinese medicine to the world. |
