Geological exploration is one of the important methods of geophysical exploration.Seismograph is the most critical instrument in monitoring earthquake,responsible for acquisition and record of seismic information.Its performance has a direct impact on the results whether is reliable or not.It plays an increasingly important role with the deepening influences of geophysical science,and there is more strict requirements on its performance in engineering application.Engineering seismic exploration often requires high accuracy,high resolution,and handiness.Considering from the development trend of exploration technology application,the seismic instrument has functions as much as possible,which can meet the seismic reflection and refraction seismic technology requirement,but also receives the natural seismic surface wave and body wave signals and micro seismic observation.In order to meet the requirements of engineering investigations,research on engineering seismograph focuses on improving the accuracy of exploration,the exploration resolution,handiness and versatility.This paper thesis focuses on the research of new centralized engineering seismograph based on SOPC technology,taking FPGA design based on SOPC technology,the design of a 48 seismographs hardware and development of embedded software has been achieved.According to the actual requirements of existing centralized engineering seismograph,a new centralized engineering seismograph,which is portable with low power consumption and high precision,has been achieved.The paper is engaged in solving the problems in data acquisition in engineering seismic exploration,that is,the design and achievement of the 48 seismic data acquisition station.The master chip of the system is the three generation of Cyclone of Altera FPGA EP3C25F324C8,and it transfers data through high-performance 24 ?-? Modulation A/D converter ADS 1274.With its development of main control unit SOPC,it saves designers more time to solve the complexity of connector between CPU and its peripheral devices,instead,they can concentrate on the design of end system and its functions.The intelligent power management in seismograph solves the problems that it is limited to work because of power consumption when it works in field and needs the power supply,and makes the users interface more simple and friendly.Embedded system Windows XP on the PC 104 with data acquisition software makes the interface all in Chinese simple and convenient when operating.The seismograph supports a variety of measurement methods such as coverage measurement,reflection,refraction and surface wave.It functions to display and modify the waveform,access files,process data and operate graphics.In addition,it can do real-time monitoring on the working status of the device.Currently,the device has been used in engineering seismic exploration,for it has met most requirements of engineering seismic exploration based on its noise suppression,sample depth,system stability,reliability,overall power consumption,size and friendship between man and machine interface.Experiments shows that it is a practical and feasible project on engineering seismic exploration,for it provides a SOPC resolution program which can be learned from for the research of similar geophysical instruments.
