Oasis town is typical settlements in the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia.They are built in the arid desert grassland ecological environment.Ecological migration,industrial transformation,and expansion of urban scales have highlighted regional environmental problems.Urbanization has brought about new ecological processes in Oasis town.It is urgent to study the ecology suitability of human settlements and regional environment.Oasis is located in the Yellow River eco-economic belt.The urban space is distributed along the north and south foot of the Yin Mountain.The built-up area is 692 square kilometers and the total population is about 10.25 million.In the evolution of Oasis town,the process of Oasis living environment generation and development always involves conscious and unconscious,active and passive pursuit of coupling with nature,linking local people's life,production,and ecology,and generating thermal environment and living needs'coupling.The coupling of ecological habitats and thermal environment in Oasis town is a suitable planning method for the renewal development of living and production space and the regional ecological environment.It is the symbiotic performance of ecological habitats and regional environments in Oasis town.To improve the quality of built-up spaces in Oasis town.The coupling of thermal environment and human settlements in Oasis town has the attributes of urban and rural planning,building physics and geography.It is based on ecological orientation and life first.It is carried out from the aspects of theoretical evolution,original concept,empirical analysis,and cross-discipline research The driving force,basic theory,and mechanism of the coupling of the thermal environment and human settlements in Oasis town,constructing an"optimal,habitable,and timely" Oasis town construction space optimization strategy,and adjusting the Oasis town settlement environment.Based on the literature method and map method,the characteristics of the natural environment,urbanization level,settlement changes,sustainable model and other characteristics of Oasis town are studied,and the driving micro-environment functional scale are analyzed.The research shows that controlling the height of the oasis urban overlay layer,promoting the urban structure pattern from the north to the south,and increasing the oasis urban built space The methods of green capacity,increasing the concentration of large-scale green lands,planting suitable tree species,selecting suitable underlay materials,building a climate buffer zone for external space,environmental management and environmental education,etc.are suitable for oasis urban space optimization.The research on the coupling of thermal environment and human settlements in Oasis town helps to deepen the understanding of the connotation and nature of ecological settlements in Oasis town,and at the same time guarantees the sustainable development of oasis towns and cities,provides theoretical support,activates the built space environment in the region,and promotes Oasis Urban human settlement cooperation and exchanges provide ideas for substantive planning for the renewal and development of Oasis town and the compensation of the ecological environment.
