The Theory of Fire is one of the most characteristic contents of TCM theory.There is abundant record about it in the TCM literature of past dynasties,but it lacks systematic sorting.People use the natural fire as a metaphor to understand the physiology and pathology of the human body,and to guide clinical diagnosis and treatment,which constitutes the main content of TCM fire theory.Objective:Comprehensively and systematically collate and analyze the literature related to fire,and establish a more complete and clear TCM fire theory system,so as to make the connotation of Theory of Fire deeper,more thorough,and easy to understand and inherit.Methods:Combine the longitudinal research and the horizontal research of fire theory,and achieve the optimal purpose of fire research using the methods of philology,logic,history and genesis.Results:①Longitudinal research shows that the Theory of Fire in TCM can be divided into five stages:germination period,foundation period,development period,maturity period and perfect period.Before the "Huangdi Neijing" was in the germination period,the records of the Fire and Huochen in the unearthed literature show that the fire of material turns into a fire of physiology and pathology.The foundation period is from the completion of "Huangdi Neijing" to Tang Dynasty.The fire of Yin and Yang,the fire of the five phases,the fire of the smell of medicine and food,the heart fire,the fire of the five circuits and six Qi,the fire of earth,water,fire,wind,dragon fire,and clearing fire lays the framework for the fire theory.The Song Dynasty was the development period of the fire theory.A large number of fire concept emerged.Fire and heat theory,Yin Fire theory,ministerial fire theory,intercourse between heart and kidney,Real fire,the fire of lust,the fire of the organs,the fire of the meridians,etc.that is very important to the previous theoretical framework.The Ming Dynasty is a mature period.Characterized by the collation and innovation of fire theory.Not only did a large number of fire articles appear,but for the first time,the monograph of fire was created,creating a new concept
