With the development of civil construction and the increase of population density, the harm of earthquake becomes more and more serious. It is very important to make preparation to reduce the lost of earthquake. It is a very important respect in earthquake resistant and disaster reduction to develop a set of anti-seismic geographic information system. And the development of GIS software in recent years provides favorable condition for it. The relevant process of the establishment of anti-seismic geographic information system for city of Baoding is presented in this paper. At first the methods of predicting economic and personal lost are prescribed. The relevant flow chart and computing results are also given. Secondly integrated development and improvement methods of the assistant decision system for anti-seismic prediction in Baoding are systemically described. And the author also described the framework, function of the system. What is more the establishment of database and the making methods of assistant decision system as help document are presented. At last the anti-seismic geographic information system for the buildings of Baoding is developed. Its database management system can realize the operation of data query, dynamic updating. Graphic system can realize data visualization, data query, assistant decision during earthquake by kinds of operation to the map. This software integrates geographic image, database technology and analytical computation. It can simulate, establish, operate, analyze and display the destroy condition of buildings under the role of earthquake. It also can reflect relevant real-timegeographic and special data.
