The Establishment Research Of Shenyang City Geology Information Management System Based On MapX

According to the geology datum current management and applied situation of Shenyang city, this thesis put forward and established the Shenyang City Geology Information Management System. It expected to solve some existent problems to improve the geology datum management and applied level of Shenyang city.Though comparing with the several GIS development methods, the author selected the MapX technology and Visual Basic 6.0 to develop the Shenyang City Geology Information Management System. The whole thesis used several sections to discuss the current applied situation of GIS in Urban Geology, to analyze the shortages and the essentiality that establish the Urban Geology Information Management System, and the established process of this system. It taked the geology datum of Hunnan district of Shenyang city as an example to test this system's functions. It proved this system is practical, and it can meet the usual geology datum management and applied needs of Shenyang city.
