Management System Of Geological Prospecting Bore Rock Core Information Multimedia Database

With the modernization of manufacture and management in geologyperambulation, prospecting and mining, more and more attention has been paid to therichness, veracity and integrality of the geological information of the stratum, coreand mine, the objectivity of the geological sketch and the importance of the uniformmanagement. Based on the requirement of these fields, this dissertation has introduced themanagement system to the geological prospecting field and developed theManagement System of Geological Prospecting Bore Information MultimediaDatabase(GBMDMS).Discussing on the actuality of the geological sketch, the development of themultimedia database and the information management system. It helps thedevelopment of the system to have an academic base.Combining the computer technology with the information management of thegeological prospecting, the GBMDMS has been programmed with VB and Access.The system includes 4 subsystems: file, management of bore, management ofmultimedia and help, realizes input and output of multimedia information, coreinformation searching, producing of extending chart of the bore.The GBMDMS combines the multimedia database technology and theinformation management system with the geology prospecting and interrelated fields,which has friendly interface and can be mastered easily, and provides a new techniquefor the modernization management in the future.
