The Study On The Thematic Map Compilation Standardization Of The Land Development And Consolidation Project

With the development of the land development and consolidation industry, standardization and normalization has become the industry's development direction. The Land development and consolidation projects' thematic map compilation is a key technology in the project planning and design technical systems, and we can improve the cartographic efficiency and quality, and bring the map function into full play through the study on it. According to the characteristics of land development and consolidation industry, the paper analyzed the Land development and consolidation projects' thematic map compilation standardization study framework from the direction of cartography, and discuss the mathematical basis of its thematic maps, the map elements classification and coding system, the specifications for the map elements symbols, the development of the symbol library, and the map compilation methods and steps of the framework. Through studies, we acquire some research achievements such as the map elements classification and coding system, specifications for the map elements symbols, symbol library and figure plate based on the software MAPGIS, and so on. Finally, we analysis the application results of the paper'research achievements by a specific application case.
