| Internet has already become a new system release platform of GIS with rapid development of the network technology. WebGIS is the product of the GIS and Web technology integration. Web Service will be the primary means of implementing WebGIS.The article takes WebGIS as the release platform to study the space data map service,in which the realization method and the technology of existing network map service were firstly analyzed, and the network map service system frame based on the MTK platform was proposed, also, the key technology of realizing this system frame was expounded. On the foundation, it brings the network map service system frame based on MTK platform which is the three layers system structure based on thin client side/ fat server side. Three kinds of key technologies of design were introduced in the article:ATL SERVER,AJAX,HTC. The map server abstracts spatial data that satisfies the condition after the retrieval from the spatial database according to the request of the Web server, and produces the images that was given the filename and the URL in specific directory, which transmits from the Web server to the customer for display. The server takes map service module MTK as the map processing core; The XML disposition document customizes the map data which was need to add, and the map style; The INI disposition document customizes the map service; The customer is taken as the platform of communicating with the user in the way of the HTC behavior module; The customer and the server communicate with each other with the SOAP; which send requests and receives response to use the AJAX technology, so as to carry on in the asynchronous way. All data processing are completed at the server, and the customer only needes submit the request and reveal corresponding response result.Finally the article takes the map service frame as foundation to introduce the system implemention that the food and leechdom supervised information system based on WebGIS.
