With the increasing development in computer application and information technology, the reasonable and high efficiency development of the embedded system, severing our life and production, is becoming a new hot project in computer field. The coal mine worked underground is a dangerous profession. If the embedded system could be used in the ahead prospecting of the mine geologic configuration, the safety production of coal mine will be improved to a great extent. The appearance of the portable geologic detection instrument fills up a deficiency in the application of the geologic detection.The portable geologic detection instrument utilizes wave splitting, conversion characteristic and various transmission speeds in different medium to arrive the changing of features about the medium and medium thickness in the aspect of time and roomage, and accomplish the mine geologic detection by the variables gotten from specific relation of math and physics. The portable geologic detection instrument is a kind of embedded system, which is mainly constructed of data acquisition system, data processing system and other subsystem.Data acquisition system is made of cymoscope and data sample circuit. Cymoscope is based on velocity or acceleration sensor, which is used to convert the mechanical shock signal to electronic signal. The key part of data sample circuit is ADS 1271 chip featured 24-bits A/D resolution and high-speed SPI interface. ADS1271 chip answers for converting the analogical signal gotten from A/D sample part to digital signal for computer.The software of data acquisition system adopts modularization design. It mainly makes of promptly_sample module, delay_sample module and previous_sample module, which realizes the sample of three different kinds of data, and offers data input for various data process.Data acquisition system is the most important part of the detection probe. It determines the validity of the sample data and the reliability of data process and data analysis.According to the problems of KDZ1114-3, this paper describes the design and composing of the hardware, the design and realizing of the software and the system test of the data acquisition system used in the new detection probe in particular, based on the detailed research of the detection probe theory, design and composing.The new detection probe overcomes the disadvantage of KDZ1114-3, which is suit for the ahead prospecting of the mine geologic configuration. The practice proves that it can forecast kinds of destruction and abnormal in coal mining area and leading area in advance, ensures the safety production in mining area.
