Evaluation is an effective way for students 'development. The evaluation of students' learning in normal university is important for the students to form life scientific literacy. It can also help the students to know more about teaching. But the research on it is rather less. So , we manage to construct a Multi-evaluation system of students' learning in botany experiment on basic of the demands for excellent person and good teacher. The system aims to develop and progress through offering information for student's studying and teacher's teaching.Firstly, we investigated the relevant literatures, definituded the standards of excellence person and good teacher, outlined the basic skills and abilities the students should get in botany experiment, summarized the current statue and developing direction of learning evaluation, determined the normal approaches used in scientific experiment's evaluation, clarified the mistakes in evaluation, introduced the modes and steps of action research. Those preparations are necessary for our research.We also researched the current statue and demands for botany experiment through questionnaire and interviewing. The original evaluation has contained both terminative evaluation and progressive evaluation, such as evaluations in biologic plot and experimental operation. But the evaluator and the approaches is limited. There is a need for new evaluation system.Action research is the main method. The students who have botany experiment in 2007 and 2008 join in our research. Through two years' research, we have constructed a system containing two handbooks (one is for students, the other is for teacher).The content of the evaluation covers knowledge and skills, process and approaches, attitudes and viewpoints. Both students and teachers join in the evaluation. Self-evaluation and alternative evaluation are both used . All those meet the demands of Multi-evaluation.Evaluation is not aimed to classify the students, but to offer useful information for teacher's teaching and student's studying. So, we stated the data of the students' self-evaluation, collected and gave the suggestion to the teacher, analyzed the emphasis and difficulties of the experiments and gave them to the students. By doing this, evaluation can play an important role in the teaching and studying.Considering the characters of normal university, we also designed activities and evaluations through which students can get teacher-training, just as "How will you organize an activity to identify the plants in our campus, if you are a teacher?" and give a lesson like a teacher. However, teacher-training is a long progress. The methods and strategies the teachers used in teaching can also help the students about teaching. So, we tell the students to pay attention to the methods and strategies, as well as knowledge.Through questionnaire and talking with the experts, we can see that both students and teachers are satisfied with the evaluation. The research has a wide view. The content, the ones joining in the evaluation and the methods used in the evaluation all meet the needs of Multi-Evaluation. The aims to improve studying, teaching, research and reforming are realized in a content. Evaluation should serve for teaching and studying. So is my research. It gives useful information for teaching and studying. So it's viable and useful. I designed special activities and evaluations to show the characteristic of normal university. It can set a good example for the learning evaluation of other scientific subjects and other normal universities. My research emphasizes the feedback of evaluation, that's my main innovations. But, due to limited time, there are still many problems to be solved, for example, how to make the evaluation more efficiency.
