Hainan Island is the second largest island in China, is rich in species of darkling beetles, but the lack of a more comprehensive long-term research, species recording was little, the researching level have a big gap with other parts of China and the world. This research on the collection of Hebei University Herbarium, borrow specimens and of samples collected in the field such as classification, on Hainan Island Darkling beetles for more complete information on the types of summary and conclusion, in order to overcome this weakness, as a profound understanding of its resources and to enrich our country and the world fauna and geography of services. This dissertation according to the type of detailed lists and specimen information, its fauna, geographical distribution pattern, the District Department of the origin and evolution, adaptation and evolution of scientific problems such as a preliminary answer. Innovative results obtained are as follows: 1. To identify and summarize Hainan Island Tenebrionidae 5 subfamily 132 species belonging to 42 genera of 16 families (subspecies), including a new species, four of China's new record species (subspecies), the before the data is the data in this study was 2.8 times. During the study, 1 new species was described: Catapiestus claipes Lang et Ren, 2009; 4 species were newly recorded in China:Campsiomorpha ducalis Pic, 1915; Eucyrtus pretiosus striolatus Ando, 2003; Tearchus annulipes Kraatz,1880; Amarygmus bellulus Bremer, 2003.2. Tenebrionidae Hainan Island, the geographical distribution and distribution pattern is characterized by: a) tropical, subtropical; b) cross-distribution of small, single zone distribution or adjacent to the main distribution area. Hainan Island proportion of endemic species of the total, 24%, its geographic distribution are narrow, and a variety of distribution is discontinuous distribution.3. Tenebrionidae Hainan Island's fauna is characterized by: a) complexity of floristic composition, species diversity, rich; b) a larger number of species, fewer individuals; c) Japan dominant species, floristic elements in South China outstanding; d) single-zone species in the oriental elements high, reflecting the tropical - subtropical origin.4. Hainan Island darkling beetles'fauna and evolution of land and sea to build and re-distribution of the complex diversity of the regional ecological environment, and the evolution of flora and fauna closely related.5. Hainan Island darkling beetles adaptation and evolution of characteristics: soil darkling beetles and the natural environment in the long selection process, forming a flat back type one kind of the main body, and a background color of one kind of protective color, and some biological learn to adapt, such as diet choice, the rhythm of life, and clusters of such; arboreal black beetles with the natural environment in the long selection process, forming a flat back type, cylinder type and sheet type 3 main body, and a background color 2 Protective camouflage and color, and some biological adaptation, such as habitat selection, diet choice, the rhythm of life and non-cluster and so on.
