Research On Quality Valuation Of Panda's Habitat In Qinling Area Based On GIS

Panda is a special rare animal in China and it is distributed only over Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces. Its reputation and influences have exceed the biological field and has gained the widespread concerns of the international society. Based on the analysis function of GIS software, according to the research and analysis of field data on third panda's habitat investigation in Shannan-Qinling area, this paper analyses the different factors of panda's habitat such as the origin of forest, shadow-covering ratio, shrub covering ratio, bamboo covering ratio and growing situation, altitude, aspect, slope etc., confirms the proportion of each factor using the method of AHP, divides the grade of Panda's habitat, and verified the evaluation results that approximately fitted the actual distribution of Panda. In the result, it give the scientific warranties to the development and the protection of Panda's habitat, it also can establish the basis on the protection of the Panda group for further development.
