Polyvinyl chloride (PVC ) is the one of the five biggest general plastic,that has very enormous output and consumption. However, on account of its quite weak heat stabilization,it is indispensable to add heat stabilizer into PVC resin when it is been processing in order to prevent PVC from changing color and decomposing. Accordingly, the development of PVC heat stabilizer is closely linked to PVC products.Organotin heat stabilizer is the best and the most promising PVC stabilizer at present, it is effective, nontoxic or low-toxic , transparent. At least thousands kinds of organotin compound can be used for PVC stabilizer, but no more than twenty kinds of organotin compound have realized industrialization on a large scale. In our country, the production and application of the new-type heat stabilizer cannot keep up with badly the development of PVC industry, to speed and reinforce development and application research for organotin heat stabilizer has been inevitable.To R&D monoalkyltin stabilizer is a very important means for developing and perfecting organotin stabilizer.The main task of this paper is expected to obtain a new variety of organotin stabilizer, that assimilate those strongpoints of dialkyltin varieties stabilizer and conquer their defects, through synthesizing a series of monoalkyltin compound and testing their primary applied properties.The research plan of this paper is that the three functional bonds in central Sn atom of monoalkyltin, in order to adjust and optimize the integrated properties of monoalkyltin ,will be bonded with varying radicle group. These radicle groups are mainly mono-maleate or maleic acid, lauric or stearic acid, mono-phthalate.And then the effects of the synthesized compounds to PVC properties will be tested.The reactive condition of synthesization for mono-2-ethylhexyl maleate and mono-2-ethylhexyl o-phthalate was investigated,high-yield products were obtained through controlling reaction temperature&time well. A series of carboxylic acid ester monoalkyltin varieties used for PVC heat stabilizer were synthesized, takenmonobutyltin oxide as basic material and mono-maleate, maleic acid, lauric acid, stearic acid as bonded group, and the configuration of synthesized monobutyltin was investigated on the basis of IR spectrum. The experiment has advantages that raw and processed materials is cheap and process is simple to handle,it is easy to realize industrialization. In addition, dibutyltin bonded corresponding group that be applied to contrast experiment was synthesized.The result of static heat stability testing indicated that single fatty acid ester monobutyltin and monobutyltin bonded with mono-2-ethylhexyl o-phthalate have better heat stability than dibutyltin bonded corresponding group; single fatty acid ester monobutyltin have excellent lubricativity and good early restraination to HC1; monobutyltin bonded with mono-2-ethylhexyl maleate have excellent long heat stability and evening stability although its early restraination to HC1 is comparatively weak than single fatty acid ester monobutyltin; monobutyltin bonded with mono-2-ethylhexyl o-phthalate have excellent long heat stability and evening stability and its early restraination to HC1 is common, and some plasticization function.The uppermost innovation of this paper is to introduce mono-phthalate radicle group to central Sn atom of organotin. The research&application of the organotin stabilizer bonded this radicle group hasn't reported yet. The experiment indicated that the variety of organotin stabilizer has excellent integrated performance and high popularization importance.
