The dust pollution in a workshop will bring severe damage to worker's physical and mental heath. Or worse pneumoconiosis will make workers ill. The pneumatic transport system was built in 1970's in material transfer of Da gang oil company. The ventilation system of operation workshop adoptted upwards-ventilation system. After so many years the effect was very bad and now it is discard as useless almost. Now the dust pollution in the operation workshop is so fearful that it should be done immediately. In order to do this a new ventilation system is built to remove the dust in operation workshop. The new ventilation system worked automatically under a automatic system control. Not only the dust pollution problem is settled, but also the reliability of the system is improved. The complexity of the operation is reduced. The main contents are described as bellows:On the basis of analyzing the source of dust in the workshop, controlling dust concentration, several types of model of non-stable and stable dust point-source diffusing in stable air, stratified flow, turbulent flow have been studied, then the effect of gravity of dust and the reflection of ground on dust diffusion are discussed.After analyze the dust pollution problem in the workshop by the numbers, the reason for the pollutin in the old system is found. A new ventilation system is designed. After that new system's design principle and work flow are discussed. And effect of dust removing is expounded. At the same time the composing and important function of automatic system is expounded detailedly.The keystone investigation is how to get the appropriate wind speed to get the best effect of dust removing and energy saving. Through discussed the effect of operation and movement state of dust in ventilation pipeline, formula of the flow of dust and air and the resistance of the pipe is gained. Meanwhile a new way to get appropriate wind speed is found.
