The paper shows the ideal synthetic condition for preparing the novel amphoteric surfactant of monoalkyl phosphate by long-chain fatty acid, diethanolamine and polyphosphoric acid.The choice and arts of the phosphation reagent were investigated.The effect of the feeding way of phosphorus pentoxide,the raw material ratio,the esterifying temperature and time on the content of monoalkyl phosphate was studied.The optimum conditions of preparation were determined on the basis of experimental results.Firstly,RCOOCH2CH2NHCH2CH2OH(R=C17H35,C11H23)was produced by the catalyzer of inorganic acid ,at 160℃ and 4 hours.Secondly, RCOOCH2CH2NHCH2CH2OPO(OH)2(R=C17H35,CHH23)was obtained: RCOOCH2CH2NHCH2CH2OH/P2O5as3/l;the esterifying temperature :140℃;the esterifying time :5.0hours.Finally the production was got by neutralizing with KOH. The detecting of surface tension and critical micelle concentration proved that the compound has superficial activity.lt showed not only the properties of anionic surfactants for its easy soil releasing,but also the characters of cationic surfactant for its good antistatic and excellent softness.So it is an amphoteric surfactant.
