This paper relates to synthesis of two new structure amphoteric phosphate surfactants which have not been reported in civil and their surface activity and applied capabilities have been characterized. On the basis of characterization, it researches some formulations and gets stable emulsion cream and emulsion resina and spin finishes which has well antistatic ability. The amphoteric mono-2- ( N-ethanol-N-dodecyl ) aminoethyl phosphate has been prepared by reacting N-dodecyl-N,N-diethanol aminewith polyphosphoric acid. Through orthogonal design which includesthree fats and three levels, the preferable reaction routine has beenachieved, which contains cyclohexane as solvent, in-situ polyphosphoric acid as phosphation reagent, molar ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus is 1.2:1,temprature is 120C, and the time is 6 hours. The phosphate will be neutralized by potassium hydroxide, and the product will be called compound (I). The compound (II), namely dodecyl amine polyoxyethylene mono-phosphate potassium has been prepared byphosphating polyoxyethylene dodecylamine and neutralizing with base. In order to select the optimum condition of preparation of compound (I), different solvent has been tested as well phosphation agent and molar ration of nitrogen to phosphorus during preparing the compound (II).A series of experiments have been made to testify these surfactants' surface activities and applied capabilities It can give a conclusion that compound (I) has good behavior such as higher detersive power, emulsifying power and antistatic power. It has isoelectric point (pI) which is character of amphoteric substances. While the pH of solution is more than seven, it shows as anionic surfactants; and while the pH of solution is less than seven, it shows as cationic surfactant. Whatever the solution is acidic or basic, the compound (I) always shows very good emulsifying power. In the light of compound (I)'s preferable emulsifying power, the formulation have been made mainly in emulsion cream and emulsion resina and spin finishes which have achieve good results. As an amphoteric surfactant it has better cooperative effects than other ionic surfactants and also gives the formulations good character, which has testified the compound (I) is a compromising surfactant. Comparing the compound (II) with its raw material, it can been found that compound (II) has the similar surface activity and applied capabilities. Its raw material's critical micelle concentration is smaller than its. It also can give a conclusion that the preparation of compound (II) is impractical.
