Cross wedge rolling technology belongs to a multidisciplinary intersect problem, and a systemic theoretical science on new product's designing has not been established, the time and expense is very large for iterate trial-manufacture, so carrying out the simulation study on part precision roll forming mechanism, solving the key problem of product quality during the part forming process, it is of far reaching importance to foundation rolling system science. In this paper, the numerical simulation on the wholly rolling process of trio cross wedge rolling has been finished, by using finite element software DEFORM. Different kinds of influencing factors of draught pressure have been overall and systematically lucubrated, by utilizing orthogonal experiment. It possess important practical application value to roll ability scale, rigidity designing and process optimize optimization. Based on the before investigative substructure, this paper proceeds all-the-way tracking to different kinds of stress-strained curve of the work piece's centre by trio cross wedge rolling, and finds out that alternating shear stress and shearing strain are the first causes to the ring loose at work piece's centre. For the control on heart check has a certainty difficulty during cross wedge rolling, and at the mean time, it may depress the using life if the centre of the shaft has not been through quenched. So it will be a import means on solving the work piece's core defect directly utilising thick-walled tube to process open tube shaft by cross wedge rolling. For this reason, a thermal-mechanical coupled model for 3-roll cross wedge rolling of hollow work piece has been established in this paper. The study on stress and strain field distribution of the work piece is given. It offers theoretical principle for realizing and solving the figuration law of hollow work piece. In order to settle the problem of wall unevenness and bad gyrate condition during hollow work piece forming process, this article makes research on trio cross wedge rolling process which has cored bar in work piece centre, and proceeds a comparison with hollow work piece. It proved that the rolling process with cored bar may get more better quantity, through the medium of different kinds of field of force regularities of distribution,and stress-strained curve analyses as well. This article has done a practical hot rolling process on DS200 trio cross wedge rolling machine, and analyses work piece plasticity figuration law cum draught pressure parameters. At last, the article combines the simulation result and the experiment, and finds that get substantial agreement. The experimental investigation about circularity weakness of trio cross wedge rolling work pieces has been carried out.
