Recent years, the production and technology of ferroalloy industry have been greatly developed in our country, while the environmental protection and comprehensive utilize of ferroalloy enterprises are relatively lagging. Most ferrosilicon electric furnaces are open stove. Ferromanganese and ferrochromium electric furnaces which are closed-end are little.Large quantities of plume and dust which are seriously polluted to the atmosphere environment and natural ecological environment are emitting into the sky over the factory areas.Air case pulse-jet style baghouse filter was introduced from Fule Company of American, with high efficiency technology of 1990s. It incorporated the advantages of separately baghouse reverse blow and reverse pulse-jet of air and so on, overcame the low intensity of separately baghouse reverse blow, and simultaneous operating of reverse blow and filtrate at a time. So it improved the dust collection efficiency, prolonged the operational life span, extended the usage of baghouse filter. This text designed the filter according to the elementary parameters of the 6300kV ? A electric furnace ferrosilicon factory, local conditions and related emitting standards. We took the principles of each dust collector operation fee and the character of smoke and dust into consideration, then chose PPC96-2 X10 air case pulse-jet bag filter to calculate.
