Research On The NC Cutting System Of Ship Models Based On DSP

With the development of DSP(Digital signal processor) from the 1980s,it has been more and more widely used in the CNC field.And the CNC system based on IPC and DSP Motion-control Board is becoming a new trend. The ship model is an important tool for forecasting the sailing capability of its real prototype.It also acts as an important role in the ship research and teaching courses. With the continuous development in technologies of design and manufacture of ships, the process of ship model manufacturing puts higher demands on its method and equipments. Advanced manufacturing technologies should be introduced into the field of ship model shaping, and replace the traditional handcraft method. This dissertation makes an analysis of the actuality and the trend of the ship/mode manufacturing.Based on this, it puts forwards a kind of control system of Numerical Control (NC) machine for ship models based on IPC and DSP Motion-control Board. Firstly, an analysis is given on the characteristics of the ship model drawings and the manufacture process of wood ship models. The technique parameters, the gross design scheme and the key techniques of the HCM01 mode NC machine for ship models are introduced here. Secondly, this dissertation describes the gross frame of the mechanism, and narrates the designing of the main parts briefly. Thirdly,the dissertation designs the hardware and software of the control system of the NC machine for ship models,including the analysing the frame of the control system.It also chooses the models of the main electric elements according to the important degree,including the Industrial Computer,the Motion Control Card ,the normal I/O card and the Frequency Conversion system of the Principal Axis.the dissertation make a deep research of the software of CNC based on the theory of modularization and Object-Oriented Programming, including module of the explaining of NC code, the module of remembering function, I/O module and so on.It also gives the detailed source code. Fourthly, the dissertation also makes a discuss of the opening quality of CNC system, including portability , interoperability and scalability. Lastly,a maneuver is made in factory corresponding with each function,including single axis motion, Principal Axis motor and Auto-machining and so on.And the result is successful.
