| In order to design a reasonable and scientific layout for ecological construction of Panzhihua, Sichuan Province, acomprehensive analysis was conducted with special reference to: (1) its natural resources of climate, soil and land, water, forest, biology, minerals, tourism;(2)its social-economic system, including regional advantages, economic status, and (3)the advantageous and disadvantageous conditions for construction of ecological city. According to the above analysis, the strategic orientation and development objective for this purpose were put forward, The authors analyzes the function change of urban in its evolvement and the ecc-enviromental problem caused by this change. Based on this analysis and the method of system ecology by Odum HT, the authors discuss the aim and the principle of urban eco-envirnment planning under the sustainable development; put forward the general view of urban eco-envirment planning in which the kernel is the adjusting of industry structure, land-use structure and spatial pattern ; To achieve sustainable development in the urban areas. |
