The shaft of electric submersible pump is an important part in oil extraction equipment, ittakes on torque transfering in the electric submersible pump unit, such as transferring torque ofelectric motor to every impeller with rectangle bond ,or to the upper pump with spline. Thefailure of the shaft will lead to electric submersible pump unit to stop working, and this is veryserious fault which will affect oil production. Therefore, the research of reliability analysis anddesign of the shaft of electric submersible pump will make design of production reasonable,higher-reliability, which will own an important theory significance and practical value,as a result,economic benefit and society benefit will be also obtained.In this paper, the main works in data collection and statistics analysis of the shaft of electricsubmersible pump are: the collected data of the shaft of electric submersible pump are analysedand dealed by means of probability theory and statistical theory, and statistical model ofinfluencing failure of shaft of electric submersible pump is established;by means of fault treeanalysis, we find out the minimal cut-sets of the system and calculate happened probability ofthe top event of fault tree, qualitative analysis and quantitative calculate of the shaft electricsubmersible pump are finished. At last, the software of collecting reliability data is compiled,with which the basic data of the shaft of electric submersible pump is collected.The main works in reliability design of the shaft of electric submersible pump are: based onthe normal criterion of reliability design, interference model on stress and intension isestablished considering undetermined factor affecting failure of the shaft of electric submersiblepump. Corresponding finite element model is established based on the analysis to the forcedstatus of the shaft of electric submersible pump. By means of solution of ANSYS software, theinteger stress distribution fig of the shaft of electric submersible pump is obtained, the relativitybetween single designed variable and multi designed variable is researched by using ANSYSPDS application of probability sensitivity make product'cost more cheap under the condition ofthe invaribility quality and reliability, developing these research work and obtaining thesesachievement will further develop analysis and design of reliability theory...
