As an important oil drilling equipment,the reliability of high pressure mud pump is widely concerned,but it still has shortage of short life,poor reliability and low efficiency,serious impact on production and operation.In order to improve the service life and reliability of the system,this paper analyzed the reliability of the mud pump system through the method of fault tree analysis in order to predict the weak links of the system,and take appropriate measures to reduce the possibility of failure,and then reduce the failure of high pressure mud pump in the process of working.The main contents of this paper include the following 4 aspects:(1)This paper presents the analysis method of reliability engineering,problems aimed at the market of high pressure mud pump with low reliability and high failure rate,take the 3NB-F1300 mud pump as an example,through the analysis of the composition and failure of the high pressure mud pump establish the fault tree model to provide the foundation for the subsequent reliability analysis.(2)Based on the fault tree model and the reliability analysis method,the reliability of the system is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.Through qualitative analysis,we get the minimum cut set that can cause the top event;Through quantitative analysis,we get the index of system reliability like the failure rate and reliability.It is found that the reliability of the system is low,and the reliability of the connecting rod and piston leather bowl is the lowest,and the average life span is the shortest.(3)According to the results of reliability analysis,use the ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis software to analyze piston leather bowl and connecting rod with low reliability.Simulating the working load and force condition of mud pump in actual working condition,analyze the force and deformation of connecting rod and piston leather bowl components in the system during the working process.Finally according to the results of the analysis put forward the corresponding improvement measures for the weakness of the piston leather bowl and connecting rod,so as to improve the reliability of the whole system.(4)The monte carlo simulation method is presented to simulate the reliability of3NB-F1300 mud pump system.By comparing the simulation results with thetheoretical calculation,the accuracy of the system reliability analysis is verified.
