Application And Research Of Unascertained Measure For Urban Ecosystem Health Assessment

Since Industrial Civilization, our environment has been affected with large scale and high intensity, and the natural ecosystem has been changed or damaged. As a result, ecosystem health is suffering increasing stress, and it brings a series of global environment problems, that make the development of human beings been in danger. People recognized that maintain ecosystem health and its well-circulation is important. So study of ecosystem health became a important research field. As a new subject, many aspects of ecosystem health are in the seedtime. Especially for urban ecosystem health, there aren' t a mature system info and evaluation methods . This paper on the base of correlation research findings, explore urban ecosystem health analysis deeply though the theory, methodology and practices.The main contents of the study as follows:(1)The paper introduces the historical background and active significance of ecosystem health. By expatiating on development and present status of ecosystem health studies, the paper has a systemic presentation of ecosystem health theory form the connotative meaning, the research content and the correlation field.(2) According to the urban ecology theory, and ecosystem health theory, on the base of analyzing the structure, the function and the character of urban ecosystem, the definition of urban ecosystem health is generalized that is exercisable and good for the goal of ecosystem management. And based on this definition and Chinese urban characters, the author build an indicator system for urban ecosystem health assessment which contains economic-natural-social three subsystems. By the same way, the health grade standards are set up.(3) There is no generally acknowledged and exercisable method for ecosystem health assessment, especially for urban ecosystem health assessment. Based on urban ecosystem assessment theory, according to the character of urban ecosystem information, using unascertained mathematics theory, finally the thesis forms the approach for assessing urban ecosystem health including index system, index weight, assessment standard and assessment model.(4)Taking nine cities in Zhejiang province as a case, the result of urban ecosystem health assessment shows that the sequence of urban ecosystem health from high to low is Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shaoxing, Taizhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Lishui, and Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shaoxing Lie at health state while the other six cities Lie at critical state. The ecosystem health state of Zhejiang province is good as a whole except natural subsystem, so it needs to be advanced.(5) Comparing the results educed form Unascertained Model with the results of National Bureau of Statistics of China, the conclusions are analogous. Comparing to the model which set up by fuzzing mathematics, Unascertained Model adopts appropriate degree of confidence and sequencing criterion, enhance the resolution of assessing result, and can reflect the integrated effect acted on ecosystem by multi-factor interaction. It is scientific and effective for ecosystem health assessment.
