The Urban Ecosystem Health Assessment Of Shandong Province In Of Context Urbanization

The city is the most prominent region, which is the contradiction between economicdevelopment and ecological protection, so city is the most complex ecological types. As fastdevelopment of urbanization level, urban ecological system health has become growing worse.Therefore the level of urban ecosystem health was researched which will be for thesustainable development of urban ecological environment has a certain practical significance.Taking cities of Shandong Province as the research object, which Used data of social andeconomic statistical from2000to2012in Shandong Province. On the basis of the analysis ofregional situation in Shandong Province, urbanization level and urban ecosystem healthassessment were evaluated cities in Shandong Province from2000to2012. Finally throughthe establishment of the VAR model, using Granger causality analysis and impulse responseanalysis method research dynamic measurement between urbanization level and urbanecosystem health. The results show that:(1) Urbanization composite index of Shandongprovince showed a trend of rising at a constant speed, which showed t moving in a gooddirection of urbanization level in Shandong province. The comprehensive urbanization levelof the province’s cities has some extent improve; Municipal comprehensive level ofurbanization presents obvious regional differences, the eastern coastal area urbanization levelis significantly higher than other regions. By2012, the comprehensive urbanization level ofQingdao, Weihai and Yantai, Rizhao and Zibo cities is advanced stage.(2) ShandongProvince provincial urban ecosystem health index development has experienced the "slowimprovement-improve-rapid increase" three stages from2000to2012. The province’s citiesurban ecosystem health index increases year by year, the urban ecosystem health levelgradually to a good direction in13years. city urban ecosystem healths are obviousdifferences in the spatial region, the regional health condition get obvious change in2012,Qingdao, Weihai and Yantai of the east ecosystem health is the best.(3) There is aunidirectional causality between urbanization and urban ecosystem health level.
