Study On The Control System Of Polymer Wire Extrusion Equipment

Extrusion method for preparing polymer optical fiber (POF) is one kind of high efficient manufacturing process. But it's difficult to prepare POF which be required having high dimensional precision by traditional extrusion equipment. The advanced control technology was used in our lab in order to improve the dimensional precision of POF. The control system of POF extrusion equipment was deeply researched in this paper.The factors that influence the precision of polymer extrusion products were summarized and analyzed by reference to the former experiences. Base on analyzing these factors, the temperature control and pressure control were mainly researched.The intelligent temperature control instrument was used in our extrusion system after analyzing several kinds of temperature control methods.
