With the development of science technology and computer network technology,virtual instrument will be widely used in many fields. The idea of virtual instrument is"software is instrument", when you find the hardware may be not adequate, the software(computer programming) can help you to solve this problem, so software design is veryimportant in virtual instrument. By computer technology, data processing of virtualinstrument can be finished on the computer, so it can be more efficient, convenient,quicker, and avoid the human error. Based on LabVIEW design virtual instrument,computer resources and the existing chemical instrument are combined, to promoteexperimental orderly better.In this paper, the use of virtual instrument software design to control chemicalprocess simulation is researched. Through the LabVIEW software programming, inwhich the software is developed, the data acquisition system of signal is transmitted,processed, control and displayed, as well as the study of control system, to realize thechemical process of two main test parameters of pressure and temperature detection,control, analysis and display, and user-defined experimental system.System main program flow chart of the two experiment parameters of pressure andtemperature in the chemical process, for data acquisition, system panel (includingparameter setting, operation instructions, control button, result display and tracking)modules programming are designed by LabVIEW. Pressure and temperature signal areconverted into an electrical signal, and then transmitted to the computer virtualinstrument software system and processed, control and displayed, to reach real-timedetection and control of two parameters. This way could increase the experimentefficiency, cut the experiment cost and save the experimental time.System operation results show that the system achieved the expected design goalwell, which has good application and popularization value. By LabVIEW with Web publishing tools, virtual instruments and experimental instruments can be connected tothe Internet, this way can help laboratory personnel with remote monitoring andoperating instrument.
